Rotary and JDM culture stickers, designed in Buenos Aires. You don't need an RX-7: you just need to love the brap. Posters and tees on the way.

Mazda RX-7 FD3S & Hiro the Shiba Inu
The official sticker: the black FD, Hiro peeking out of the rotor and hirotary.rx7 underneath. For the rear window of those in the know.

Wankel rotor in its housing, retro style

Googly-eyed rotor housing, Japanese ad style
A rotary engine housing with googly eyes, like the mascot of a Japanese cleaning product: パワークリーン! Made together with SEED (@seed.dsg).

Two rotors.
Zero pistons.
The 13B-REW has no valves and no connecting rods: each rotor spins eccentrically inside an epitrochoid housing, handling intake, compression, combustion and exhaust in a single turn. From the factory it ran sequential twin turbos; this FD came from Japan already converted to a single HKS GT3-4R turbo run by an HKS F-CON V-Pro.
To-scale cutaway · R 105 mm · e 15 mm · the rotor turns at 1/3 shaft speed

The 13B-REW in a nutshell
Two rotors, zero pistons and a scary reputation. What makes the FD's engine special, what it needs to stay healthy and where the brap brap comes from.

08Meet Hiro
Rotary heart.
Shiba soul.
HIROTARY is Hiro + rotary. Hiro is the family Shiba Inu and official co-pilot: not a mascot bolted onto the project, but half of its name. And yes: Hiroshima, home of Mazda, starts with Hiro too.
